The Polar Bear's habitat is in danger because global warming is making the polar ice caps melt. 

By following a few simple steps you can avoid wasting energy. Make sure to turn off all electrical appliances when you are not using them. Even if they are on 'hibernate' they are still using energy. Of course, don't leave lights on in the house when you are not there. It is also a good idea to use light bulbs which are energy saving in parts of the house where the lights are on a lot. 

Shut your windows to save energy. Use the AC only when necessary and make sure the house is shut up when you do so. The same is true for saving heat energy in the winter. In the summer set the AC at 50 0r 60, and in the winter don't go above 80.

By taking these simple steps we can help save the planet and  maybe stop a few polar bears from being homeless.
