Tornados, storms, lighting...nature at times shows its claws and its wild side.

Weather phenomena has struck fear in the hearts of humans since the beginning of time. With photos like these, it is no wonder that the first humans thought bad weather was a punishment from the Gods.

Storms form when hot air and humid air meet, causing huge clouds called  cumulonimbus that resemble puffs of cotton. These clouds cause strong and isolated storms with lightening like you see in the images below.

Tornados are one of the most destructive storms in nature. They form when the storm is especially strong and they can appear in any part of the globe, although they are most common in the USA.
