Last week we gave you some tips on how to straighten you hair, and this week we have some advice for those who prefer curly hair.

Many girls have curly or wavy hair and hate it because they feel like their hair is out of control. But, if you use the right products curly hair can be gorgeous.

Curly hair is usually really dry and that's why when there is a lot of humidity in the air curly hair can get frizzy. Also, curly hair is less shiny than straight hair because its spiral form doesn't allow light to reflect upon it in the same way that straight hair does.

Now the good part. Curly hair has lots of personality and you can do lots of fun styles. There are lots of ways to wear curly hair up, so that it has less volume on rainy days.

The perfect length for curly hair is just below the shoulder so that it can be worn up or down. Be careful if you cut your hair short. It may look good when wet, but when it dries out the result could be frightening.

Those with curls should use a special shampoo for hydration as well as a hydrating conditioner which will soften it and give it shine. To brush curly hair use your fingers or a pick. If your hair loses shape after taking a nap, wet it and add a bit of mouse giving it shape with your fingers.
