Pretty much everybody can sing every word of “Call Me Maybe” at this point, whether they like the song or not!

The super infectious pop tune is the biggest hit of the year, and it just officially hit NINE weeks at the top of the charts. The previous most popular song was “Somebody That I Used to Know” by Gotye, which was #1 for eight weeks.

Both Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber have joked with Carly about moving over to give their songs some space at the top of the charts. Justin's latest single “As Long As You Love Me” is currently coasting at #15.

Carly has basically gone from a complete unknown (save an appearance on Canadian Idol) to a chart-topping superstar in just a few months. She's had an amazing ride, and it looks like she could be more than just a one-hit-wonder. Her second major single, “Good Time” is just as catchy and fun as her first one.

Congrats to Carly on her big achievement!
