Rachel Baier, 14, of Boston, Massachusetts made an agreement with her father to deactivate her Facebook account for four months.
Rachel turned over login info to her father so he can change the email address and/or password to ensure she doesn't log in.
Her father will give her $50 after the first month of inactivity, and Rachel will receive the remaining $150 at the end of the fourth month.
Four full months without Facebook. No status updates. No photo tagging. No seeing what her friends are posting. Instead, Rachel will focus her energy on family, school, and her job.
What do you think, Wambie girls? Is this a good experiment? Would you take the cash and shut down Facebook?
