Even though it features three of today's hottest young stars, Spring Breakers isn't aimed towards their usual fan bases.

Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, and Ashley Benson are all famous for their very family-friendly roles, so when they announced they were starring together in a movie lots of people assumed it would be a similar project.

But Spring Breakers is definitely not for younger fans. Vanessa herself warned them this weekend:

“The younger fans aren't allowed to watch [Spring Breakers]. But the older fans I think are going to enjoy it. You have to have an open mind. “

Selena Gomez has also warned her younger fans to stay away from the movie for its risque content.

Spring Breakers hasn't been officially rated yet, but it's almost certainly going to get an R rating. Most of Selena and Vanessa's fans are probably under 17, so they won't be able to see the movie in theaters.
