Last night, the highly anticipated MTV Video Music Awards aired, and one of the biggest winners of the night was One Direction!

Harry, Liam, Louis, Zayn, and Niall took home all 3 awards they were nominated for: Best Pop Video, Best New Artist, and Most Share-Worthy Video, all thanks to their hit single "What Makes You Beautiful."

The award for Video of the Year went to Rihanna for "We Found Love." She was up against her friend Katy Perry, Drake and herself for "Take Care", M.I.A., and Gotye.

Chris Brown also took home two big awards - Best Male Video and Best Choreography. He beat out Justin Bieber for Best Male Video!

Demi Lovato is another star who won big, winning the award for Best Video with a Message for "Skyscraper".
