Taylor Swift said this one in an interview with Rolling Stone!

“I went through a few rollercoasters. Trying to chronicle each step of the way was challenging, because you go to some really dark places with the lyrics. Then in the next track, you're talking about how amazing it is to meet somebody new.”

Taylor was talking about her new album Red and how she came up with the lyrics. Even though the album isn't out yet, the single “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” makes it clear that Taylor spent time writing songs about her feelings.
