THE BEST LOOKS AT THE HALO AWARDS
Last night, Nickelodeon aired the HALO awards, and tons of celebs were there, from the cast of Victorious to Lucy Hale to Big Time Rush.
HALO stands for Helping and Leading Others, and honors non-famous teens who are doing great work. They each get a celeb match too who works on similar things. Before we get to the fashion, let's talk about the amazing things these teens are doing!
- Allyson Ahlstrom created Threads for Teens, which is a boutique that collects clothing to give to disadvantaged girls to boost their self-esteem. She's matched with Tyra Banks.
- Matt Ferguson's Chemo Bags are filled with nice things for women going through chemotherapy, which he started after seeing his mom battle breast cancer. His celeb match is Emma Stone.
- Taylor Waters is starting her own Red Cross Club and works hard to provide disaster relief and get young people involved. She got to work with Josh Duhamel.
- Kylie Lan Tumiatti works with Operation Hope to help children of migrant workers learn English through fun reading activities. Justin Bieber was her celeb match.
And now onto the outfits...
Victoria Justice wore a red dress with matching lipstick and her hair swept back. She looked chic and simple, and the color looks great on her.
Lucy Hale wore a white dress with a pointy collar and a black floral design on the front. Her pretty pink lipstick looks great with it.
Daniella Monet, Victoria's on-screen sister in Victorious, wore a silver dress with draped sleeves and a short skirt.
Victory Van Tuyl, who stars in the new Nickelodeon series Marvin, Marvin, wore a cute black dress with cap sleeves and a slightly flared skirt.
