The performance lineup for last night's closing ceremony were kept secret until the show, but there were some pretty good predictions of who would show up.
As predicted, 1D, Ed Sheeran, Jessie J, Muse, and the Spice Girls all performed!
A ton of musical artists were there to celebrate the history of British music.
Who better to be the example of today's hit music than One Direction? The guys didn't make the Directioners wait long - they came out during the first part of the ceremony. They sang "What Makes You Beautiful", of course. You can see the video below.
1D weren't the only surprise appereance of the night. Jessie J fans go to see her sing "Price Tag", "Written in the Stars", and "Dynamite." She also joined up with members of Queen Brian May and Roger Taylor to perform their hit "We Will Rock You."
Ed Sheeran, Muse, and Oasis also had big moments during the show, but without a doubt the most highly-anticipated performance of the closing ceremony was the Spice Girls! They reunited after over a decade of being separated just to sing at the closing. Victoria, Emma, Geri, Mel B, and Mel C sang two of their biggest hits: "Wannabe" and "Spice Up Your Life."
You can see the Spice Girls and One Direction perform below. We'll post more videos of the other performances as we find them.
UPDATE: Sorry about the videos, Wambie girls. For copyright reasons, they've been taken down. If you can find one that works, e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We'll keep looking too!
Thanks to Wambie girl Stephanie for sending her friend Melissa's video of One Direction - hopefully you can see that one.
Thanks to Wambie girls Amy, DibsOnLiamP and SwiftRox for sending us info about the Closing Ceremony!
