It turns out that Selena helped Taylor through a recent guy problem - dating a younger guy.

Taylor got asked in a new interview if she'd been inspired to go for a younger guy after seeing how well Selena and Justin get on. She replied "Probably."

Tay also talked about what else influenced her decision: “You have to make it work by prioritizing it, and by falling in love really fast, without thinking too hard. If I think too hard about a relationship I'll talk myself out of it."

It just goes to show that age doesn't really matter if you really like someone.
