On her biggest role model:

“There are a lot of people I look up to, but the person whose story has touched me the most is Katy Perry. She's worked really hard to get where she is, and it certainly didn't happen overnight for her.”

On her favorite food:

“Oh, I love Southern food, so any type of casserole.”

On her favorite fashion designer:

“For high, high end fashion would have to be Marchesa.”

On the best part of working for UNICEF (which helps kids around the world):

“What's been most fulfilling is being able to travel with them and witness how this organization does what it believes in, which is saving kids' lives.”

On the wish she would want instantly granted.

“For everyone to be nice.”

On which animal she'd love to be:

“A monkey!”

On advice for her fans who would love to be the next Selena Gomez:

“You have to love what you do. You really have to be passionate about it, and you can't let anyone else get you down.”

She also talked about the last book she read (The 5 Love Languages) and the last album she listened to (Frank Ocean's latest).
