Malala Yousafzai is a 14-year-old Pakistan girl who was critically injured after trying to take a stand when she was banned from school  for being a girl.

On October 9, the Taliban tried to assassinate Malala and she still remains in critical condition, earlier this week she was airlifted to a hospital in England.

Selena is using her fame for good and trying to raise awareness about the situation.

Selena changed her facebook profile pic to a portrait of Malala, that quotes her saying:

“All I want is an education. And I’m afraid of no one.”

Along with changing her photo, Selena also posted this message, “Please honor Malala Yousafzai by spreading her message of children’s right to an education,” she then added a link to the UNICEF website, an organization that Selena has frequently worked with.
