Selena Gomez helped bring awareness to Kevin Curwick's #NiceThings anti-bullying message.
She tweeted, "#NiceThingsis trending!!!!! @OsseoNiceThings started it all!"
In Osseo, Minnesota, Kevin Curwick, a high school football captain got upset after seeing all of the hate being spewed on Twitter by people who were picking on his fellow classmates.
To stop it he decided to start his own anonymous page to share all the amazing things about his classmates. He started using the twitter handle @OsseoNiceThings and he tagged all the postiive things he posted with #NiceThings.
Selena thought that was a great idea and helped it trend on twitter by adding #NiceThings to her tweets. One of her own #NiceThings message was used to show everyone how great her fans are: "I Love u all so much and thank u for all the support u give me. I have the best fans. #NiceThings!"
Because of that people became more aware of what was behind the #NiceThings message, and brought awareness to Kevin's campaign for friendliness and positivity.
