Rumor has it that Rihanna will be performing with her ex, Chris Brown!

Word has got out that RiRi has reportedly asked the producer at MTV if she can bring Chris Brown on stage during her performance. Chris's restraining order has recently been lifted and he is allowed to be close to Rihanna again.

A source working on the VMA's spilled this information:

"[The producers] like the ratings that [a Chris-Rihanna duet] would bring, but there could be some backlash too. . . There isn't much choice since Rihanna is insisting that he perform with her."

The VMA's will air on MTV on September 6th, so we might have to wait until then to find out if these rumors are true.
