Earlier this year, Rihanna and Chris Brown caused a lot of controversy by teaming up to make some music together. Lots of people thought they might be getting back together as a couple too.

Both of them denied it, and Chris actually currently has a girlfriend, Karreuche Tran. Some fans were worried that Rihanna might be getting herself back into an abusive situation. But others thought it was no big deal, and that Chris could’ve changed.

Rihanna’s dad Ronald Fenty agrees that Chris is a different guy. Here’s what he had to say about Chris now and then:

“Chris has matured a lot. I think everybody has to put the past behind them. And they seem to have done that.”

So what would he think if they did get back together?

“Being a couple is all up to her. Every decision is her decision. I just wish her the best. I hope things will work out. Everyone is entitled to make a mistake. Her fans are hoping it will happen. They see them as the perfect couple.”
