One Direction have been hard at work on their new album, and it's getting closer and closer to being done. 

Liam revealed “We've recorded about six songs for it so far. It's going really good with this album so far. Hopefully, we'll make as good of an album as last time, if not better.”

What will their new album sound like? Louis said “It's a similar sound, but we're trying to do a bit of an older lyric.”

Zayn added “Right now, we're just kind of enjoying what we’re doing and this is amazing. So we kinda just want to continue with this and make more music and hopefully be One Direction for as long as we can.”

The latest news is that we should be hearing a new single sometime in the early fall from the guys, and an album a little bit after that. It's not so long to wait now!
