Music fans were getting pretty excited about the prospect of a collaboration between One Direction and Justin Bieber...but it seems like it's not actually happening.

Louis Tomlinson set the record straight in a new interview:

"There's actually been no talks between either of us, it's just a little story that the press has stirred up."

So do they even have plans to work together? Louis continued

"Not as of yet. We'd like to have one on the album, but who knows?"

Maybe they'll team up in the future, but for now, that was just a rumor. Wambie girls, do you think One Direction and Justin Bieber would make a good team?
