One Direction just landed a new magazine cover - Top of the Pops. Here's what the guys had to say about homesickness, friends, family, and fame.
On homesickness:
Niall - "We all had two weeks at home after a trip to Australia, and that needed to happen. Ten weeks away from everything was a long time and we all needed to go home. So we had a couple weeks off, chilled out, and didn't do much."
On fame & family:
Zayn - "I know it sounds cheesy, but it's rewarding to be able to buy other people stuff and see their faces when you get them something nice. I got all my sisters their birthday presents this year. And it's nice to make things a little easier for my mum.”
Louis - “Before, I literally had next to no money, but now that I have a little bit of money it's really nice to be able to treat everyone.”
Liam - “We spent money on our families and stuff because our families have all done so much for us. It would be rude not to."
On fans on Twitter:
Niall - “A follow means so much to someone, so you can understand why they would want it.”
Harry - “I get why it's nice for them to know we follow them, and it's not hard for us to do, so we try to do it as much as we can.”
On appearing in the press:
Louis -"The one thing we're proud of is we're a normal and genuine boy and, and we're not trying to be anyone we're not.”
