Mockingjay will be split in to two films!

Just as with other popular movie franchises that have come from books, the final book will be split in two. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and Twilight: Breaking Dawn were both originally the final book in their series but were converted in to two for the big screen. It looks like Mockingjay will be no different!

The studio has already set release dates for the final parts in the Hunger Games series. Mockingjay Part 1 will hit theatres on November 21st, 2014 while Part 2 will be released November 20th, 2015. That seems a long way away!

However, the sequel, Catching Fire, is not that far away from fans and is set to come out November 22nd, 2013!
