• 8. Nick Jonas – 4.7 million followers
• 7. Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson (tie) – 5.4 million followers

• 5. Harry Styles – 6.2 million followers
• 4. Miley Cyrus – 8.1 million followers
• 3. Demi Lovato – 8.7 million followers
• 2. Selena Gomez – 12.4 million followers

But the numbers are a little upset by this week's Twitterverse drama over Zayn Malik's account. He had 4.9 million followers before, which would have put him just ahead of Nick Jonas. He was down to about a million at the time this list was made.

Even though Demi, Selena, and Louis are all 20 now, they got counted on this list as they were teens in 2012.
