One Direction had big news for fans yesterday – the name of their new single!

You can watch their official announcement HERE. The song will be called “Live While We're Young.”

The song will be released on October 1^st, and it's the first single off their upcoming second album. The album is expected to be released in November, and will feature collaborations with Ed Sheeran and Tom Fletcher from McFly, along with songwriters from their first album.

And the lads are hard at work shooting the music video already. Here's what Niall Horan posted to Twitter:

“What a day yesterday shooting the video! Gonna be sick! Director is a legend!”
