Miley Cyrus is NOT married, despite recent quote from her Cosmo interview that got fans wondering.

Here's what really happened. First, Miley referred to Liam as her “hubby”. In another quote from the interview, she talked about dating and said this:

“I’m happy I don’t have to date anymore. I’m so happy I’m married, because you guys are cruel!”

Fans thought that was a confirmation that she and Liam were offiically married, especially because Miley had previously said she wanted a really low-key wedding. Plus, there were those pictures over the holidays where Miley and Liam were both wearing new rings....

BUT....they aren’t married. Liam's rep said that the couple are “definitely not married.”

Why would Miley say those things then? Well, a while ago, she explained in an interview that she feels “married in my heart and my mind”, even though she hasn't had a wedding yet.

Now it all makes much more sense.
