Louis's trip to the V Festival got off on a horrible start. He was trying to rush over and got caught over the speeding limit!

The One Directioner gort pulled over in Essex, on his way to the venue. As punishement he got points taken away from his license and was given a small fine.

Last time Louis got pulled over, it was because he was driving too slow!

Louis really doesn't want to get his license taken away because that would mean he wouldn't be able to drive up to visit his girlfriend at college.

A source said: “Louis told friends he’s learnt his lesson and will be extra careful from now on. His girlfriend Eleanor Calder is at uni in Manchester and he drives up to see her so he doesn’t want a ban.”

That's a good reason to improve your driving skills, Louis would feel awful if he couldn't drive to see Eleanor.

However, he didn't let his fine stop him from having fun at the festival. When he finally got there he met up with Eleanor and fellow 1D mate, Niall.

Be careful out there Louis!
