The lads of One Direction spent this past weekend in New York.

Harry went to Central Park with Taylor Swift, Zayn went shopping with Perrie Edwards, and Louis went with Eleanor Calder and Liam to visit the Empire State Building.

But Liam had less than a perfect tourist experience at the NYC building:

“Just been to the Empire State Building had a great time except… The security detail in particular the senior security supervisor was arrogant, unprofessional and extremely disrespectful to my family @EmpireStateBldg #TheresAlwaysTimeForManners”

Liam didn't explain exactly what happened, but it sounds like the guard was insulting him and his family.He added another tweet today: "Seems there was a bit of a mix up when I was at the Empire State. Its all good. Sorry for confusion looking fwd to next timeeeee!"

We hope it didn't ruin his trip!
