Kristen Stewart has decided to drop out of an upcoming movie project.

The movie is called Cali, and she was supposed to star alongside Alex Pettyfer. The story was about Kristen's character faking her death with the help of her boyfriend (played by Alex), then running away from her life.

Kristen seemed really excited about the movie, gushing “Oh man, I'm talking to [the director] Nick every day. We're still figuring some stuff out.” She also said “I will be hitting the gym. Hard” to prep for the role.

However, she's officially decided to drop the part since. She's also a producer on the movie, but there's no word yet as to whether she's dropping that as well.

They haven't said yet why Kristen decided to back out of the movie, but it might be because she has a lot to focus on in her personal life right now.
