Katy Perry is going to be doing a whole lot of costume changes for her up-coming tour. She will have to change her dresses and costumes in record time.

Katy recently talked about her California Dreams Tour: “I just found out that I will probably be changing between 15 and 20 times in the show,” she explained.

“I’ve done a lot of changes before so I think I can handle it. The trick is to have clothes underneath clothes, underneath clothes, underneath clothes. And it’s all about Velcro — it was such a saving grace.”

“I’m going to have to be like an athlete, I can really feel it,” she said.

“This kind of tour is not going to take any slackers. There is no lazy in the vocabulary for this tour. I really feel like I’m in training, so of course my diet is going to change, my sleep regimen is going to change to be healthy and make me strong.

It is kinda sad because back in the day so many people could just get away with rolling out of bed and being the rock star but those days are so over. Nowadays you have to be like an Olympic athlete. Two months of training for a year long tour all over the world — it’s a big deal.”

As you may remember, Katy's tour set is going to be like something out of Candyland and it sounds like there will be a lot of other surprises to come too!
