Despite missing the People's Choice Awards, Katy has been seen out and about a lot recently.

Perhaps the fact that Katy won four awards at the show lifted her spirits a little. She was seen leaving Los Angeles covering up her new 'do in a floppy hat and showing off her legs in a patterned mini dress.

Russel Brand, Katy's soon to be ex-husband, told reporters that he is doing "quite well" despite the media frenzy over the very public break-up. Katy seems to be handling the situation fine, and we wish her the best.
