Katy Perry and Russell Brand’s divorce was finalized this week, so they’re officially no longer married.

What’s Katy Perry doing? Well, she’ s not staying at home being sad a bout it – she’s going on a long vacation!

Katy will be jetting off to South America with her brother. She definitely deserves a long break, as she’s had a few really tough, horrible months.

It’s a great idea to give her some time to recover after the split, and she’s going to go somewhere she’s never been before with her brother David.

They’re going to start off in Peru and follow the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. Wow, so exciting! It’ll be a good opportunity for Katy to have some time to herself to heal.
