Selena Gomez is turning 20 next month, and she’s going to be celebrating her birthday in an unusual way.

Selena said “I’ll be spending it at the Teen Choice Awards. (Laughs) But that’s okay, I mean, they’re really fun and the fans are there so we’ll have a good time.”

It sounds like Sel might have chosen something more personal for her birthday celebrations, but the Teen Choice Awards sound like a pretty good second option.

What about her best birthday ever? Selena said “I had a Hawaiian-themed birthday one year, which was really, really fun. That was the biggest birthday I’d ever had. I was probably 10, and my mom and dad and everybody put it together.”
