The Twilight movies have made fans pretty happy with their adaptation of the books, and a lot of the credit has to go to star actors Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

Kristen explained, “Me and Rob got into a lot of trouble. We wanted it to not be so polished. We were getting notes from the studio. They wanted me to smile all the time. They wanted Rob not to be so brooding. We were like ‘No! You need to brood your *** off!’”

And Kristen especially was super focused on making sure the movie was super faithful to the books. The director Bill Condon said that she was called “the Twilight-book Nazi” on set!

Hmm, we can’t quite imagine the movies with Bella and Edward smiling 24/7! Do you think they made the right choice?
