After  Brit's successful surprise appearance in How I Met Your Mother, rumors are flying that Brit may join up with the Wildcats for the third HSM.

Entertainment Wise said that the singer may perform at the request of Kenny Ortega, the director and choreographer of HSM.

Entertainment Wise also said that the production crew is crazy about Britney. "Britney is a modern icon. Her participation in HSM would be incredible. If Mrs. Darbus (Alyson Reed, teacher) had a star like her in the group, Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale) would have some steep competition." said Kenny.
