Yesterday morning, Avalanna's family released this sad statement:

“Our darling Avalanna went to Heaven this morning. Oh Avalanna, the brightest star – you took our hearts with you, our greatest love.”

Avalanna was a huge Justin Bieber fan, and her dream was to get to meet him in person – and it happened. Justin flew Avalanna and her family out to New York to meet him at the beginning of the year. She and Justin even had a pretend marriage ceremony.

Since then, they kept in touch. Justin tweeted this about her passing:

“Just got the worst news ever. One of the great spirits I have ever known is gone. Please pray for her family and for her. RIP Avalanna. I love you.”

He also shared this sweet picture of the two of them and captioned it “my angel.”

Rest in peace, Avalanna.
