On Monday, they started filming the first part of Cassandra Clare's saga in Toronto, Canada.

Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower are the two stars of the movie version of the book. Lily will play Clary Fray, and Jamie will be Jace Wyland, who's a "shadowhunter", meaning he hunts demons.

The shadowhunters exist to defend humanity from demons, but have spent hundreds of years hidden beacause humans can't see them. For some reason, Clary can see Jace, even though normal people can't.
