From the waist up, Emma Watson's outft looked like the cute but safe "little black dress" option.

But when you see the full-length photos, it's surprising to see Emma's whole outfit. She paired her LBD with some black pants.

Pants and a dress is an unusual combinatino for the red carpet, but Emma looks really glam in it.

Emma also talked about what a challenging role her part of Sam in Perks is:

"This film really pushed me out of my comfort zone. I told the director [Stephen Chbosky] that I have just come from playing Hermione Granger and you are expecting me to dance and putting me in corsets, and it’s difficult."

But of course, Emma overcame her fear and managed to pull off a role that's a far cry from her days as Hermione.
