After the box office success of Snow White and the Huntsman, the movie studio talked about making a trilogy out of the movie.

But then the Kristen Stewart-Rupert Sanders cheating scandal broke. She starred in the movie, and he was the director. Clearly, working together on a sequel might be a little awkward for everyone involved.

Originally, it was reported that Kristen had been fired from the series, and that the sequel would instead focus on Chris Hemsworth's character, the Huntsman.

But Universal Pictures countered reports, saying that the star has not been dropped. They said “We're currently exploring all options to continue the franchise.”

So it sounds like although Kristen's not definitely in, she hasn't been fired either. Rupert Sanders could also still work on a sequel.
