A little while ago, Demi got asked if she's ever used auto-tune and she repiied:

"Even when I sound like **** I sing live, so whatever."

She got asked this because a few weeks ago, a contestant on the X Factor was angry about not being chosen. Demi told him that a singing career "isn't for everyone", and he replied "That's why you use auto-tune and I don't." 

So Demi wanted to clear things up and assure fans that she doesn't use auto-tune or lip synching.

Fortunately for fans of Demi's singing, the star is coming out with a new album soon! Here's what she said about her upcoming work:

"For this month and October I'm working really hard - probably every day in the studio."

Wow, so if she's hard at work this month and next month, we might even get to hear new music from Demi before the end of the year!
