Gabrielle Douglas is the new all-around Olympic champion for women’s gymnastics!

The 16-year-old star won the gold medal, beating out Russian gymnasts Viktoria Komova and Aliya Mustafina with her amazing performance. It’s a huge achievement!

Did you know that Gabby is the very first African-American woman to win this title? Actually, she’s the first woman of color to ever win it. She’s also the first-ever American gymnast who’s won the individual gold and the team gold at the same Olympics. Wow!
