Carly Rae Jepsen's smash hit “Call Me Maybe” was inspired by a guy she used to date – Jordi Ashworth, an architecture student.

Carly and Jordi dated for quite a while, but in June they decided that they had to end things due to Carly's super busy career. With all the time she had to spend in the studio and on tour, there wasn't much time left for their relationship.

But Carly didn't have to wait long until she found a new boyfriend. In August, she met singer Matthew Koma and they've been dating ever since.

Carly dished the info in her new interview with Glamour magazine (she's in their October issue, which you can get a preview of in the shot above). She also talked about her style:

“Pop meets folk. I love combining hippie vintage stuff with chic things.”

She also told the magazine what her #1 beauty must-have is: red lipstick!
