According to her apology It seems like the fling happened for real, and Kristen was, in fact, unfaithful.

We recently reported (see here) that there were rumors that Kristen had cheated on Rob with her SWATH director, Rupert Sanders. It might have been a one time incident, or a full on affair, the details are still a bit foggy.

Here is the statment that Kristen has just released:

“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected,” she said. “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”

This is one of the few (if not the only) time Kristen has publicly confessed her love for Rob. Kristen seems to be extremely distraught over her mistake. Rob has not released a statment.
