Beyonce and Jay-Z are trying to get Blue Ivy's name patented and trademarked!

Basically, this means nobody else can use the name to sell stuff.

A couple people were caught trying to sell things using the name "Blue Ivy Carter" to help their products become more famous. So the couple stepped in and said that was illegal.

But there's a clothing story that's already called "Blue Ivy" in Wisconsin since August 2011, so this one gets to keep its name.
