Avril and boyfriend Brody were partying it up at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Suddenly, a group of 5 people attacked Avril.

Brody stepped in to try and protect her, and he got hurt too.

Avril reported having a black eye, cuts, scratches, and bruises the next day. Ouch! She tweeted about the incident “I got attacked by 5 people last night. Not cool. […] So not OK to be abusive to others. Violence is NEVER the answer.”
