Ashley Tisdale has scored a new movie role – a lead in Scary Movie 5.

The series spoofs lots of popular horror movies, so it’s kind of scary and kind of funny. Ashley’s movie will be out on January 11, 2013.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Ashley Tisdale appear in a movie. She was in two last year , as  a voice in Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension and starring in Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure.
