It's official, Jersey Shore is over, and will not be coming back to MTV.

The sixth and final season will air in October and then that's it!

A final retrospective called “Gym, Tan, Look Back” will be airing on September 6 and will include a sneak peek at the upcoming season.

No word yet on the status of the Jersey Shore spinoff shows (The Pauly D Project and Snooki & JWoww) but we're certain this won't be the last we see of the Shore crew.
