Many times the supplies we use for school are not earth-friendly. Even if you try to buy all your notebook paper recycled and make sure to print on both sides of the paper, it is impossible to be 100% green.

Sometimes we forget too, that pencils are made from wood and usually this wood is not recycled or even manufactured in a 'green' way. Plus, it is not easy to recycle a pencil. But there is one earth -friendly pencil out there that solves this issue. 

It is a pencil called Seed, and when you have used it up, you plant it! Inside this pencil there is a seed, so all you have to do is put it in the ground. 

We love this idea and we like that by using this pencil you are helping to reforest the earth. Another thing you can do to save on resources is use up your erasers before buying new ones and always recycle paper. 

Before you begin to wax, look into all the ways there are out there to get rid of body hair.

Cold Wax: This is the one that hurts the most! Ouch! It also lasts the longest.  Used for the legs, because they are the least sensitive. Try a bit of it on a patch of skin to make sure you are not allergic to it. It is best to get your first waxing sessions done in a beauty parlor, where they know what they are doing. That way you can see how it is done. 

Waxing creams: Creams are clean and don't hurt. But they can also cause allergies in sensitive skin. Always try out these creams on a bit of skin before going for the whole treatment. These creams are best for facial hair and upper lip hair. 

Razors:  These are cheap and easy and leave your skin feeling soft and smooth. But, the effect only lasts a couple of days. You need to put lots of lotion on your legs if you are going to use this method, as sharving leaves skin dry. You can shave everywhere except the face! Perfect option for girls who can't stand waxing.

Look around at the store and see what other options and brands you find. It takes time but you will find the right solution for you.

The NBA basketball game between the Lakers and the Denver Nuggets was full of surprises, but not just sport surprises.

Seated in the game were stars like Jessica Alba, who almost got a basketball in the nose! Thank goodness player Pau Gasol has reflexes like those of Edward Cullen, and saved her from injury.

Justin Bieber was also at the game. Even though he was not right on the court, he didn't seem to mind. Just look at how he is starring at the cheerleader!
