The Country Queen also took the award for being the most fascinating person of 2009. At just 20 years old, Taylor was able to breath life into a style of music that has been forgotten and ignored by many.

In the magazine Taylor explained that she doesn't much like parties and that even though she is a super star she tried to maintain a grounded outlook and stay true to her ideals. "You can keep feeling like the same person even though everything around you is changing," she said. Many other stars should follow her simple advice.

In this edition of People Magazine Robert Pattinson got the title for heartbreaker of the year and Taylor Lautner got the prize for most looked for star.

After seeing images like these we wonder if there isn't a secret lab where they clone cartoons from real people!It could also just be that the producers of this film were inspired by a real little boy.

It's not a matter of seeing her listed on one of the fashion magazines top best dressed lists - Selena is one of the most elegant actresses of 2009 without a doubt. In fact, she is number 1.

Selena is better dressed than Taylor Swift, who was not easy to beat. The list that we are referring to this time is in Teen Vogue where they listed the 20 best dressed teen actresses and singers of the day.

And the winner is Selena. Also on the list are: Emma Watson, who got third place and Taylor Swift. 

Rihanna is also on the list, though we are not sure how or why after some of the other outfits we showed you the other day. Perhaps she just made the list because of her natural beauty and voice. 

Dakota Fanning is also on the list but way at the bottom at number 17. After her comes Miley, who almost didn't make the list at all. 

We wonder how Ashley Tisdale (who always looks fantastic) and Vanessa Hudgens (who knows how to dress to impress) didn't end up on the list at all?

The recipe we have for you today is a perfect additin to a New Year's Eve dinner party. It is very easy to make:

You will need:

• 2 cups shrimp, cooked and cooled
• 1/4 cup chopped sweet pickles
• 1/2 cup vinaigrette,
• 1 small purple onion cut into rings

You will also need the following ingredients for the vinaigrette:

• 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice or cider vinegar
• 1/3 cup olive oil
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• dash pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard

Once you have all the ingredients then you can begin to make the salad. First, make the vinaigrette: Whisk together all ingredients in a cup small bowl. This will make about  1/2 cup of French dressing for shrimp salad. Then, mix together shrimp, sweet pickle, and vinaigrette. Serve over mixed greens or romaine lettuce and top with onion rings.

This recipe is for four people but you could double it depending on your guests.
