Have you ever decided something using heads or tails? We never know which way the coin will land and it seems like luck is the deciding factor. However, it turns out that there are some big tricks out there when it comes to tossing a coin. Consider these facts: 

1. If the coin is tossed and caught, it has about a 51% chance of landing on the same face it was launched. (If it starts out as heads, there's a 51% chance it will end as heads).

2. If the coin is spun, rather than tossed, it can have a much-larger-than-50% chance of ending with the heavier side down. Spun coins can exhibit "huge bias" (some spun coins will fall tails-up 80% of the time).

3. If the coin is tossed and allowed to clatter to the floor, this probably adds randomness.

4. If the coin is tossed and allowed to clatter to the floor where it spins, as will sometimes happen, the above spinning bias probably comes into play...

This demonstrates that she is a widely known celebrity and accepted by the most prestigious media of the world.

 

Rihanna is shown on the front page of the next edition of Vogue Italia, which is much more than only a fashion magazine. It is probably the most important magazine in the world of fashion and trend, thus being a protagonist on the front page is very important for Rihanna.

 

The photo session, which we are hoping to show you in the next days, was conducted by the photographer Steven Klein. As you can see, he chose dark colours to give the singer an image full of glamour and mystery.

This is one of the most delicious and nutritious desserts which you can easily make by yourself, though you will have to ask an adult to help you make the caramel, as this can be slightly dangerous.

 

First you have to make liquid caramel. Pour five spoonfuls of sugar and three of water into a pan and toast the sugar. When the water evaporates and the sugar turns into a toasty colour, rapidly – but carefully - pour the caramel into the custard tins.

 

In order to make the custard, break 4 eggs into the bowl and beat. Then add 4 spoonfuls of sugar and mix it all. At last, add half a litre of milk and whip. Now pour the mixed ingredients into the tins but not up to the top, leave some centimetres so they do not overflow during the simmering process.

 

For the simmering take an oven tray which is deep enough and fill it thumb deep with water. Place the custards carefully on the tray avoiding that they float and make sure that the tray does not contain too much water, as otherwise it would get into the custards. Once you have placed all the custards on the tray, put it into the oven for an hour at medium temperature.

 

In order to know whether the custards are ready, slightly move them and if they have consistency, they are ready. Take them off the tray and leave them in the fridge for 8 hours before you serve them.

Thanks to MTV we are showing you the first picture of one of the youngest vampires of Crepúsculo. It´s Alec, who is played by the Canadian actor Cameron Bright aged 16. The young vampire is the twin brother of the character played by Dakota Fanning in New Moon, which  – as you know – will be shown for the first time in November.

 

 

In the book, on which the movie is based, Alec is described as a pale and very attractive boy with dark hair and a grey suit. According to MTV, in the middle of September we will be able to enjoy the first soundtrack song of the movie, performed by Death Cab For Cutie. We will keep you updated on any news!
