When you're a teen you are bound to have zits and skin issues. The first step to having great skin is to keep it clean and the second step is to cover up blemishes.

Everyone has oily skin and blemishes at times. All actresses wear lots of make up in front of the camera to look perfect. You can also learn how to use beauty products to eliminate small skin issues with a bit of make up. Here's how to do it:

Dark circles and bags under your eyes are common. If you don't want puffy eyes, you need to sleep 8 hours a night. If this doesn't seem to work, then apply a bit of flesh color cover up in the area you want to fix.

The other problem area on most faces is the side of the nose, which is usually redder than other parts of the face. You can also use a cover up stick in this area. You can get cover up in different tones or even a pallet with 5 colors to try different shades. It's a good idea to have a cover up stick and liquid cover up too.

The base of your make up is important. YOu can have a liquid base, powder base, or a loose powder base. There are many shades so make sure to get one that matches you skin perfectly so that is looks natural.

Also take into account your skin type when you choose the base. If your skin is oily, mixed or dry, it will make a difference which base you buy. It is a good idea to ask at the make-up counter for help when you are shopping for a good cover up base. They may even be able to give you a free make-over!

Vanessa Hudgens celebrated along with her family, her sister Stella's birthday. Stella turned 14.
