HOW JAMIE'S MOM FOUND OUT SHE WAS PREGNANT

Jamie told her mother that she was pregnant by leaving a note.

How does a 16 year old girl explain that she's pregnant?

On the Today Show, Lynne (Jamie's mother) explained how she found out Jamie was pregnant. One day Lynne went to have lunch and on her way Jamie called her and asked her to come back home. There, she waited for Jamie and her boyfriend Casey. Jamie gave her mother a note and asked her to read it in her bedroom.

"There she had written that she was pregnant and that everything would work out alright. That she wanted to be a mother," remembered Lynne. At first she didn't believe it. "I thought it was a joke. I was surprised so I started crying. Jamie consoled me."

Now Lynne is happy to be a grandmother and she loves her granddaughter Maddie!

LAPTOP BAG

It may seem strange that this was launched during Fashion Week in New York. Once you read on, you'll understand.

The computer company HP spoke with designer Vivienne Tam to bring fashion and technology together. She says that this computer is about the size of a bag, with a 10 inch screen. What a great gift for fashion lovers!

The price for this gem still hasn't been revealed, but we know it will be out in October.

FACEBOOK

What would life be like without all the Internet options we have available to us? Maybe the world wouldn't end but it would be less fun. There would be no reading the links our friends send us or chatting on messenger.

These days it's weird when someone doesn't have Hi5, MySpace, Sonico or some other social Internet network to share photos, talk and connect with friends.

Of all the web networks that we've checked out, Facebook is the one we like the most. It was created by a Harvard student who took a simple idea, email, and expanded it into a whole virtual world.

To get more contacts, Facebook allows us to search our address books online and add and invite friends this way. You can also find friends by school, name and area. You can also join groups with people who share your similar interests or hobbies.

RECYCLED BIKE

Phil Bridge, an English industrial design student from Sheffield University has invented a recyclable bike made from cardboard, which seems to work like a normal bike.

Phil designed the bike to show that it is possible to make things out of cheap materials that also work well. His invention cost just 15 pounds and weighs a lot less than a normal bike, similar to the weight of an aluminum bike. Of course, the cardboard is recycled and the pedals and wheels are reused.

The only bad thing about this bike is that it only lasts 6 months.
