A friend of Taylor's confirmed that the couple, Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift we going out for a few months but broke it off in the beginning of October.
"He broke her heart," added the friend.
Taylor, 18, and Joe Jonas, 19, never confirmed their relationship but were photographed together many times. Taylor's father said something at the MTV Video Awards that solidified the couple, "Joe is a great guy and any girl would be lucky to go out with him."
